Instapundit links to a story about the obesity study at Tech Central Station. I have previously written about this topic.
While I certainly would have liked to see my blog linked to, at least the story is getting some more attention. But unfortunately, not enough attention. As the author of the TCS article points out, “In a world without junk science, results like these would mark the end of the supposed obesity epidemic that is killing us by the thousands. Unfortunately the public health community is already busily discounting the CDC's numbers and telling us that whatever the science says, fat kills.”
People are so brainwashed by the anti-fat conspiracy that they can’t believe that the truth is actually true.
I'm behind you on this fat story. I think it's outrageous that our government is giving us health advice based on such flimsy evidence without ever bothering to even study it until now, and it looks like they are pretty much ignoring the study.
The new food pyramid is ridiculous too.
