Yesterday I mentioned that manned space flight is a big waste, and the billions being spent to develop launch vehicles for humans would be better used developing robots to send into space.
Today I discovered that I’m not out in left field at all. The Japanese already have a program to put robots in space, and even NASA is developing the Robonaut.
