Typepad has added next/previous links at the bottom of comment pages. What a surprise!
I suppose this change reduces bandwidth usage on posts with hundreds of comments, such as my post on why a career in computer programming sucks.
Typepad actually posted this news two weeks ago, but I don't pay attention to that stuff until it affects me.
Remember to click the "Next" link in order to see the next page of comments.
Supposedly the speed of commenting has also been improved, but I still keep seeing duplicated comments every day (from people who re-save the comment because they think nothing has happened). Please only hit the button once and then be patient. I hate having to delete multiple comments.
Maybe, one day, Typepad will fix the problem of allowing unclosed HTML tags in comments, something Blogger had since it introduced commenting. In the mean time, if you use HTML tags in comments, please carefully preview the comment before posting it. If you're in a rush, simple double quotes are fine for quoting someone else.
