The article points out something very interesting: a lot of poor women prefer to be maintained by the state than to marry a poor man. This means that there is nothing as harmful for a poor man than a generous welfare state for single mothers. It can be said that some single mothers are de facto married to the state, and maintained by the taxes of all working men, including the poor men, without retributing sex. Who benefits from this trend? Mainly men in western germany, but also the rest of Western Europe and even the US (where the young pretty Fräuleins emigrate).

How could the unification of the two Germanies been so badly mishandled? It's almost a generation now and the East has become a permanent welfare encampment.

Yet, at least according to the Deutches Bundesbank, unemployment in neighboring Poland is almost as high as that of Eastern Germany.But Poland is booming (general consensus)-but wages are still low so 2 million Poles are working abroad. Well, in general modern media is not very male friendly.
The truth is there has always been a slight woman shortage. Older men looking for second wifes after divorce or polygamy, more males born and so on. Some people point out that most countries have in fact more women than men, but that's only true because there are so many more women over 50. The real interesting female demographic (14-35 year old women) is short in supply, and has less members than it's same age male counterparts, unless we are in times of war. Not all men are destined to reproduce. You have to be more confident, charming, aggressive, imposing, witty, humorous and empathic than other men to reproduce. Men should always remember that.

Marrying average women off at a young age to average men constituted a form of sexual socialism which motivated every men to work hard for society. It's no surprise that christianity strengthened monogamous marriage and at leastly partly to that institution western society overtook the polygamous islamic world, which was more advanced than the west during the early middle ages.

There have been a fair number of comments on this blog and elsewhere recently about the tendency for women choose to hold out for an "alpha" male and how feminists are pro-polygamy in a subtle sense.

If this is all true, I wonder to what extent the many centuries of monogamy have taken a toll on the white race. Perhaps white males just aren't as appealing to women as they were 1500 years ago due to a dysgenic consequence of what Gannon in a previous comment called "sexual socialism."

It seems strange to me how deep and pervasive the effects of political correctness have been throughout the West. It has been said that whites could cease to exist as a distinct group in the next century due to demographic decline and the mixing of the races in what are currently majority white countries. What could cause a group of people to collectively act this way? Here are three theories:

1) The blogger Conservative Swede has suggested that it is a result of Christianity reaching the end of its life cycle, but he seemed to be speaking of a cultural effect, not a biological effect. He says that political correctness is like Christianity where instead people now find redemption through capitulation to the "other."

2) At American Renaissance it has been suggested that political correctness can be explained in terms of an instinct for "competitive altruism" with a biological basis.

3) At The Inverted World it was recently suggested that it is humility that sets the white race apart, both in terms of their success over the centuries and their more recent susceptibility to self-terminating political correctness.

The list could continue. If one believed in supernatural effects one might think that the white race was literally under some sort of spell.

Returning to the original point, however, what if the white race has just been genetically exhausted by monogamy? Could this explain the mentality of both male and female liberals? What then? Is there any hope? Could a return to polygamy be the answer, or is it too late?

Bleh! In the critter world only about 10 - 20% of critters in the wild make it to reproductive maturity and sire the next generation. This culling of 80 - 90% of the defective majority help to keep wild critters at their genetic optimum. It's only in captivity and caring humans do the slacker critters get to reach maturity and sire half-assed offspring and you get to see critters that ultimately wouldn't appear in the wild. So too over the ages harsh living has led to the best people to reach sexual maturity and create an inadvertent eugenics of sorts. It could be argued with egalitarian and socialist values, many slackers who would have starved in times past are living and, even worse, reproducing. Has H.S. considered the percentage of dolts to productive citizens ratio and seeing if the dolts are getting more numerous whereas the productive citizens are disappearing due to the tax and welfare burdens they are placed with?

Well, you did bait me with your comments :)

As with every product, sometimes pieces are missing or don't fit together, and I suspect that I may fall under that situation. You've pointed out that your married lazy eyed friends found partners, but I suspect that they lowered their standards considerably and aimed for partners with some type of physical, social, or mental defect. One could also imagine that they live in boring, sexless marriages with ugly children. For some, they can take being degrading in such a fashion while for others, being single is saving them from the indignity of marriage to ugly partner. In our modern world, there's no need for marry an unattractive female partner when there's porn for sex and illegal immigrant labour if one is too lazy to cook and clean for themselves.

Personally, since there's there's little chance of me completing a masters degree program by 25, I've more or less given up on finding a (white) woman. My low social standing, bizzare and sometimes racially biased tastes, and various other logistical barriers simply making finding an attractive woman of good social standing nearly impossible, and it may be best to simply give up on this fruitless endeavour and to re-appropriate money that would have been spent in this area on myself or my loved ones.

There's also a very big difference, as the generally more ambitious and educated women from Eastern Germany can go to other parts of the country and find non-layabout men. Black women in America don't have an analogous option.

Lets not pine too much for the old days because those rates were probably the result of things that dont make for a stable society- such as high male mortality,rampant diseases such as mumps, large scale rape, and female infidelity.
