Now I can finally buy a new DVD player. I was only going to use it to watch DVDs from Netflix anyway.

So, the condensed version is... now that Blu-ray has gained the upper-hand over HD-DVD, it will now be morphed into HD-DVD (PIP, and all that) to replace HD-DVD. Then, it will be a completed product, and all the consumer-lemmings can rush out and fork over their $$ in return for a marginally better picture quality.
Hoo-Ray!, Blu-ray has saved mankind!
