First far-left blogs, then regular blogs, then professional blogs like Andrew Sullivan, and now a mainstream British tabloid, the Daily Mail.
Officials in the McCain camp said it was 'clearly absurd'. Aides said there were photographs of Mrs Palin looking visibly pregnant before she gave birth.
That’s the first official word from the McCain camp, and it doesn’t prove or disprove anything. What else would they say? Where are the photographs? Why did Sarah Palin take a plane flight from Texas to Alaska after her water broke? Clinton said the Monica Lewinsky story was completely false, and everyone would have believed him were it not for the semen-stained dress. (For the record, I still believe that Clinton is lying about the Paula Jones incident.)
It should be only a short while before this story breaks into the major news media.
Sigma, knock it off and discuss something else because this is REALLY lame.
Btw,
PDiddy has now made known his opinion on da white ho:

HS - (again)"Why did Sarah Palin take a plane flight from Texas to Alaska after her water broke?"
HS,
even the article you provide me last night clearly indicated that her water had NOT broken. Leaking a little amniotic fluid is not that unusual. It happen to my wife with both our 2nd and 3rd children.
If you'll go back and reread that article you suggested was the most damning evidence, you might just pick up on the fact that her labor was induced (by ripping open her amniotic sac) in the medical facility in Alaska. At the time of the infamous plane flight, she was only 8 months pregnant - and she had already taken a flight to Texas. If she wasn't in true labor, she probably would not have been in pain either. While having take a flight to Texas in the first place might not have been advisable, just exactly how would the return flight somehow be worse? Because she had had some pre-labor contractions?
As some other posters have suggested, you might want to talk with some women who've had a few kids about pregnancy, labor, and the like. You sure seem woefully uninformed about what goes on with pregnant women who've had previous pregnancies. My wife walked a 5k charity event at 6-month pregant with our third. With our second, a friend of hers had won a bowling party, and, although she had never bowled before, my wife did so for the first time - about a week before she gave birth. Sure she looked totally ridiculous waddling up and rolling the ball with two hands, but the point is that she could easily engage in some strenuous activities.
First time mothers tend to be a bit more cautious, and feel as though they can do less. Women who are "veterans" of pregnancy come to realize that they can still do quite a few things. It's not that hard to believe that a woman in her fifth pregnancy might even become a bit careless.

HS, what the hell are you doing? Please use your obviously great observational skills on something relevant. Consider hurricane Gustav, Russia, China, recession/depression, bank failures, rock-star presidential candidate and, yes, Gov. Palin. She may be the best thing to rise out of the political slime in our time. Take a look at the good stuff -- enough with the moveon.org attitude.
PS. Did you follow my advice on how fix your wireless router problem?

Bush Derangement Syndrome has been replaced by Palin Derangement Syndrome.

I'm wondering if Palin knew that the baby had downs syndrome and was thinking that maybe the baby wouldn't survive if she got on a flight after her water broke. Because no caring mother would ever do that, especially one who had given birth to four children already. That baby could've popped out in a couple of minutes on the plane!
