Persian Rugs

  • If the United States places some sort of economic embargo on Iran, this probably means there will be no more Persian rugs for sale in the U.S. I urge my readers to visit this online rug store before it's too late.

There is nothing like a quality handmade imported Persian rug to add that special look to your home. I have one in my apartment and everytime I look at it I'm glad I don't have one of those cheap machine made rugs.

Reuter's reports that Bristol is five months pregnant

Link.

So, the commentor from Alaska was correct.

I KNEW there was something fishy being covered up.

People owe me some kind of apology.

So how many babies is that they had between them in the last few years?

Who gets to keep this one?

No one owes your an apology for calling you out of your crazy old man crankery regarding Palin's down syndrome baby. If anything, you need to admit how utterly insane you have been acting.

The only thing left for Half Sigma to say is:

A GRANDMOTHER AT AGE 44?! HOW PROLE!!!

wouldn't it be really cool if it turns out the baby's daddy is some much, much older guy (like a 35-40+ yo)?

The last 11 posts have been about someone who is going to be a trivia question is less than 70 days. Who cares how many kids she has or whether her daugher is pregnant. She has zero chance of being VP due to the collpase of the Republican Party, the stupidity of Senator McCain, and the incomptence of the campaign staff.

Please post about somehting that will be relevant for more than 70 days.

So everything you said is now pretty much disproven and we owe you an apology?

Its it impossible for Bristol to be 5 months pregnant and to be the mother of Trig?

Or a 72 year old.

What's the next rumour?

Track got someone pregnant and is joining the army to run away?

Now that the story is out I would just like to take this moment to gloat about my precient comment on Aug. 29th, before any Bristol pregnancy rumor had even come to my or the Net's wider attention:

"Gannon: "By the way, is Bristol a female name? At 17, she could be very sexy."

Rain And: Yup. And given her fine pedigree, you just know she'll get all good'n knocked up by some lucky clown during ma's first term as veep."

http://www.halfsigma.com/2008/08/vp-sarah-palin.html

Looks like it happened a little bit earlier than I expected! All the more fitting.

Where is Gannon?

Guess they forgot to vet the VP candidates' kids...Oops!

And in fairness I can now point out things I said that are now shown to be definitely wrong.

I basically called the lady with the "two babies" story yesterday a lying sociopath, but it turns out she was largely right.

I think I was right that Bristol doesn't _look_ 5 months pregnant in her recent photos, but I guess in that respect she just takes after dear old mom:

"Ha, that story has all the hallmarks of sociopathic women who make shit up to get attention. Yeesh.

Bristol is actually very close to 18 (she was 16 in Oct 2006), and she hasn't looked remotely pregnant in any pictures this year... or ever.

The latest was a combined family portrait of the McCains and the Palins in People Magazine. And Bristol has a basically flat looking stomach."

So wait, you've been claiming that Sarah *FAKED* a pregnancy to hide her daughter giving birth four months ago. That's all wrong but her daughter is NOW pregnant so... you want an apology?

I guess *any* revelation involving pregnancy would have vindicated you eh?

HS is a sleazeball with an incoherent, pseudo-Progressive political agenda.

America doesn't have to worry about replenishing itself. The Palin family will supply the next generation by itself.

Bigger question is how old was Bristol when she got pregnant. If her bday was after early April she was 16. Can anyone say statutory rape?

Can someone please explain the deranged mind of Andrew Sullivan for me?

"Now they've cleared the air on this - and good for them - what harm would it do to release the medical records showing that Sarah Palin delivered Trig on April 18 in Wasilla? This is not hard: there must be an obstetrician, medical records, and data that can easily refute this rumor. It is not out of the ordinary either: candidates routinely issue medical records. So let's have them. And then we can move on."

Is this some sort of gay AIDS dementia? Does he believe it's the 14 year old's baby now, or that they adopted a retarded 1 day old from Romania and faked the pregnancy for shits and giggles?

"If her bday was after early April she was 16."

She was 16 in Oct 2006. So she should be turning 18 sometime in the next month and a half.

Age of consent in Alaska is 16, provided the older person is not in a position of authority.

Look it up on Wikipedia -- takes 2 seconds.

How incredibly freakin' unbelievable? We're freakin' doomed! This has NEVER happened before!! The end is NEAR!!! An out of wedlock pregnancy -- it boggles the mind!!!! Of course, you would advocate aborting it.

I KNEW there was something fishy being covered up.

People owe me some kind of apology.

Are you joking? Everything you wrote was wrong. If she's 5 months pregnant, she got knocked up in March or April, and wouldn't even have known she was pregnant when Trig was born. There's no part of the "conspiracy" that fits in with this.

A vote for McCain equals a vote for teen motherhood!

What a terrible example it sets, to have the 17-year-old child of a governor raising a child. This is irresponsible and shameful. If she's too religious to get an abortion, she should give the child up for adoption.

This public should view this the same way it would if Bristol had a drug problem and were caught breaking into cars to support her habit. It's flaky, low-class, and shows extremely poor judgment. It taints her family by association.

As a society, we need to start shaming and ridiculing girls like Bristol not for having sex, but for their irresponsibility in getting pregnant and keeping the child. The conversation always gets knocked off-track by the phrase "slut-shaming," but it shouldn't be about the sex. For every privileged Bristol Palin with a family who can shelter her from reality and force the guy to marry her, there are probably 20 teen moms who'll need public assistance. Our society is not set up for 18-year-olds to raise families.

Too bad I'm not a Republican, I could switch to Obama to make a point. If McCain wins, will Bristol be raising her child in the Naval Academy?

I wonder if Amy Benfer will have anything to say about this. There's another irresponsible pig who milked the government and her well-financed family to support her screwup. Every high-profile brat who does it further normalizes this awfulness.

Here's part of the Kos diary entry you endorsed:

"Well, Sarah, I'm calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better."

( http://openthread.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/30/121350/137/486/580223 from http://www.halfsigma.com/2008/08/daily-kos-diary-on-sarah-palin-pregnancy-cover-up.html )

So, um, don't _you_ owe the Palins an apology? At least, you know, be big enough to keep one at hand if it turns out you have been falsely accusing Palin.

"Our society is not set up for 18-year-olds to raise families."
Wow. This is the first time I ever see you agreeing with Half Sigma Spungen. A lot of teen girls are ready to be mothers and don't want to study. 16, 17, 18 year old girls are ready to have sex and nature urges them to do so. We as a society need to marry these girls to guys 7-12 years older. Twentysomething men love to have sex with teen girls and will bond very strongly to them, securing lifelong love. Women having babies is something wonderful Half Sigma.

Holy shit this family is prole. Are the Beverly Hillbillies considering running for 2012?

Also, I completely agree with Spungen on this. The Palins are setting a bad example for American teens, and will end up glamorizing teen pregnancy. Someone from the McCain campaign needs to come out and say that Bristol made a mistake that should not be replicated by anyone else.

Twentysomething men love to have sex with teen girls and will bond very strongly to them, securing lifelong love.

Of course the love can only be consummated during infrequent conjugal visits.

By the way, this blog had a true insider from Alaska who spilled the beans that Bristol was 5 months pregnant yesterday night:

"Hey I know the Palin family, and you'll find out in 4 months why this story is so laughable. There is no way Bristol had a baby four months ago, and you'll soon find out why.

[Half Sigma: the IP address of this anonymous comment is from Alaska. The implication is that Bristol is currently 5 months pregnant.]

That means we have a credible, anonymous insider source potentially following the blog to answer questions.

If this person is still reading, could you tell us if there's any truth to the "mono" story? Did they really pull Bristol out of school to conceal the pregnancy?

I think Sigma should start a thread for Insiders.

Bristol (unfortunately is the mother of both): She is two months pregnant, not five, the first child was born in April and she was pregnant again in June. Said state of affairs but I beleive Sara will survive the storm. Kids make mistakes and it was a mother's love that wanted to claim the child as her own to protect her daughter. I like her courage, she will be a fine Vice-President. Go McCain-Palin!

Bill
