Sarah Palin's closest friends
Check out this video which is an interview with Sarah Palin's "closest friends."
They say the never talked about politics. Imagine that. Someone who would be Vice President has never talked about politics with her closest friends?
My guess is that none of them have IQs much higher than 100. If Sarah Palin had a high IQ as some people claim, she'd have more sophisticated friends.
It could be that they've decided not to talk about politics because it can be a controversial topic and they re worried about damaging their friendship.

I am amazed at all the happily married couples who refuse to discuss national politics. Such a prohibition still allows free discussion of 99.9999% of important topics, and makes for a more amicable relationship.
Honestly, only total fools and low-life losers tend to focus on politics day in, day out. Most people actually have a life. Imagine that!

Generally speaking women are not as interested in politics as men. Moreover, women are generally geared towards social cohesion and politics is a sure-fire way to lose friends.
"I'd say that none of them have IQs much higher than 100. If Sarah Palin had a high IQ as some people claim, there's no way these five women would be her best friends."
You have no data to back your assertion regarding the intelligence of the alleged friends. When you live in a rough area, you don't tend to look the part of a yuppie. Most of the women were well spoken for people who live in the sticks. If they moved to DC, I am sure they would have even better elocution.
Regarding her choice in friends, who knows if these are even her best friends? Moroever, have you lived in a town like Wasilla? There is a limited supply of warm bodies. When you are fairly smart and want social interaction you have no choice but to accept those around you. My bet is that Sarah has a best friend in her husband and that is good enough. I also bet that part of her drive for office comes from a desire to be around more sophisticated people.

I was flipping through Palin's biography at the bookstore today, it seems like the relevant friend as far as IQ goes, is Tilly Ketchum. Sarah tagged along with her (or vice-versa) to all the schools she attended, except she graduated from the junior college and Sarah went on to University of Idaho. Assessing Tilly might fruitfully further the picture of what intelligence bracket Palin falls into.

Todd Palin resents that narcissist that gelded him and left him to change the diapers. They're both blaming each other for casting off the mutant gene, evident in the way Sarah tried abortion at 30K feet. Todd's hunt club rags on him constantly about Sarah being smarter, making more money, and a better shot. The guy is so paranoid of she making a fool of him again, that he insists on being copied on state emails between her and potential staff boy toys.

I'm usually not around many middle-aged women, but when Palin is photographed next to other older women, the contrast in how sexy she is is really striking. Palin really is a straight up GILF.
What's even more amazing is that I think she is better looking now than when she was in her 20s. Her face seemingly used to be more masculine. And I'm sure the bridge-and-tunnely 80s hair, fashion, and make up doesn't help.

What in the fuck is this obsession with IQ that you've got?
Apparently, the rest of the world isn't as impressed with you as you are with yourself.
