The McCain Campaign has released a letter from Palin’s doctor, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson.
As people following this story know, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson previously gave a very brief interview at the time of Trig’s birth backing up Palin’s story, so if there was anything being hidden, she was part of the coverup.
Thus the letter from Baldwin-Johnson either means (1) there’s nothing to hide; or (2) Baldwin-Johnson was willing to lie one more time for Palin. Baldwin-Johnson is unavailable to take questions about the contents of the letter.
Andrew Sullivan is not convinced:
We have been given no actual records of the last pregnancy, or any reccords at all, although we are told by the elusive Dr. Catherine Baldwin-Johnson that labor was at 35 weeks - not as premature as previously believed (if you research the average weight of full term DS babies, you find, by the way, that Trig was not underweight). There is no time for any reporters to ask any questions, of course, or any time for the questions raised by the pregnancy to be aired in the press. I doubt Baldwin-Johnson will respond to further queries. Obama gave Palin a precedent for this kind of letter as a replacement for records with his equally secretive and brief doctor's note. But at least he did so well ahead of time, and has no serious questions pending about his own health history.
The timing of the release should also surely be interpreted as a giant finger to the press. Releasing this letter one hour before polling day begins and refusing to provide any actual documentation is not an answer. We need documentation to verify the last pregnancy: the amniocentesis results with Sarah Palin's name on them, for example, would be readily available and easy to disseminate, and would help raise awareness of Down Syndrome. So why not give us something? All we have in this literally last minute letter is Baldwin-Johnson's name. We had that already.
A finger to the press? How about the media sitting on the Obama purported terrorist-worshipping video? That's a giant finger to the American public.

So she's in fine health. As are most physically fit youngish women. What's so odd about that?

As a general rule, HS: When you find yourself on the same side of one of Andrew Sullivan's hysterical obsessions, it's a bad sign:
"[Obama] has no serious questions pending about his own health history."
Well, that makes him and Palin both.
(LOL@ the cloying and insincere bit about helping to "raise awareness of Down Syndrome." As if Sulivan cares.)

[But at least he did so well ahead of time, and has no serious questions pending about his own health history.]
Attention mindreaders: Exactly what are those "serious questions" he's referring to?

Speaking of Palin, there is a p0rn out now called "Who's Nailin' Palin?" Good stuff, as is anythings that involves MILFs.

"But at least he did so well ahead of time, and has no serious questions pending about his own health history. "
Well there is the fact that both of his parents died very early and that he is a smoker who has a history of cancer in his family. But it hasn't effected his skin color, which is his principal attraction.
As we see from the doctor's letter there are "no questions pending about Palin's health history". She is perfectly healthy and well able to fulfill the minimal duties of the job of Vice-President.
Also we learn that she followed the normal and regular schedule of prenatal checkups, so there is plenty of evidence to prove the nitwittery of certain nitwits. If they would like it demonstrated to the world.

I don't think that's where most people's concern about Palin lies.

"I don't think that's where most people's concern about Palin lies."
Well, no. That's precisely the point.
But this IS where Sullivan--with HS bizarrely playing Little Sir Echo--has chosen to plant his flag, so merciless ridicule is entirely appropriate.

Half, you should start a thread predicting what happens to Palin after the election.
Is she the GOP "great white hope" or will she find some niche way to cash-in on her fame?

A summary of medical records is all Obama released. WHAT IS HE HIDING???!!1!
Or are there two different standards?

I still don't think there's anything to this conspiracy theory. However, HS is right that this letter doesn't clear up anything.

You'll notice that no women question Palin's story. But what would they know about pregnancies. Better ask gay men from the Atlantic.
