Woah woah woah, when did Iran promise to destroy Israel (as the article says)? Also, how the hell would nukes help? That would be a lot of 'friendly' fire for the muslims..

I have no idea if Israel will be going to war soon. However, I wonder if they have lost support in some factions of the West because so many Jews have been against white Christians in so many ways. From mass immigration to the war on the most glorious holiday of all, Christmas, to supporting Israel even when it becomes clear that Israel is not America's best friend, too many vocal Jews have been outwardly critical and outwardly at war with their fellow citizens. If some douche wears his Judaism on his sleeve and then says that prole whites must live in harmony with ghetto blacks, but it is okay for Jews to avoid Palestinians, eventually that is going to backfire upon all Jews, not just the douche. And since few Jews denounce the douche, it appears that all Jews, to the general mind, support the positions held by the douche, despite the fact that most young Jews are pretty chill these days.

I for one hope there is no war because it is more suffering. My father is Jewish and he definitely fits the bill of the Jew who is supports mass third world immigration into the USA to dilute white Christians but supports the cordoning of Palestinians in Israel. Since I love and admire him for many reasons, and any such conversation would kill him, I never broach his hypocrisy. Really the lack of self-criticism in the Jewish community is partly to blame for whatever fate Israel faces and I guess that is ironic since Jews are normally pretty self-critical.

[HS: This analysis is completely wrong.

First of all, it spreads the hateful lie that Jews are against white Christians. And it attributes all of the actions of the liberal elite, the majority of whom are gentile, to all Jews, even though most Jews don't share the views of their self-proclaimed leaders.

Secondly, it's the very Jews who support these liberal policies you hate who are most likely to be anti-Israel and may even inspire some Israelis to call them self-hating Jews. The Jews who support Israel are more likely to vote Republican.

Thirdly, white Christians seem pretty pro-Israel, and it's the liberal elite that's more anti-Israel than any other identifiable political group (except for Ron Paulites and a tiny minority of "White Nationalists" who have a much bigger presence on the internet than they do in real life).]

I think you're paranoid, and that your paranoia is fueled by your lack of knowledge of the middle east. One can expect an outbreak of violence fueled by Palestinian anger once their bid for statehood fails in the UN. Such violence is probably past due given the "arab spring" of the past year. However, Syria, Jordan and Egypt are unlikely to intervene due to their internal instabilities. Turkey may bark, but it won't bite. Their own interests are far too important. Iran will probably heat up the lebanese border via Hizbollah proxy, but they will certainly avoid an all-out war with Israel. To sum up, there is no arab or muslim country that thinks it can take on Israel.

[HS: Paranoia is irrational or delusional fear. Given that Muslims have made war on Israel many times in the past, assuming that they will do so again is not paranoia, it's common sense caution.]

Signs you're about to read something wildly incorrect: "I agree with Victor Davis Hanson. " That wanker has been wrong about basically everything for a decade, and the only reason anyone pays him any attention at all is that he lets chickenhawks puff themselves up with the thought that they're, like, the second coming of Cincinnatus or some shit.

I disagree. Turkey would not risk its economic growth and trade partners for a war. For all their tough talk, they don't really give a shit about Palestinians or anyone except themself.

As for the rest, Egypt and Syria would still get their ass handed to them easily, and the world has changed alot since 1973. Jordan will keep its peace agreement as long as the king rules there.

Iran's actions are hard to predict, though. Who knows why they are up to.

Despite this, Israel should definitely stop the settlements on the West Bank. While I am very pro-Israel in general, the settlements give the Palestinian "cause" some very valid arguments against Israeli politics. Just seal the border to the West Bank and be done with it.

Our enemies are forcing us to focus and excel in warfare. Against our natural inclination. They should think twice about what they are creating because they live in the neighborhood.

Another example of Hanson's dishonesty

" On cue, the Palestinian ambassador to the United States again brags that there will be no Jews allowed in his newly envisioned and American-subsidized Palestinian state — a boast with eerie historical parallels."

There was no "bragging." The conservative media has been running with this comment which supposedly proves that the Palestinians are the new Nazis. This is the actual quote.

"After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated."

No one can say that Hanson's characterization of this comment is fair.

I've learned to be very skeptical when I hear neo-cons telling me what Muslims supposedly said.

[HS: A rather hypocritical statement, because at the same time the Muslims demand a right of return to Jewish Israel. So it's OK for Muslims to move to and live in Jewish countries, but not OK for Jews to move to and live in Muslim countries (as if any Jews would want to live in a Muslim-controlled Palestine anyway).]

Is it really possible to beat Isreal in a war? Does anyone really think the world would allow Muslims to drive Jews into the sea at this point? Wouldn't Isreal go nuclear before it reach annihilation?

A war where Arabs supported by Turks and Iranians is more dangerous for Israel, since those guys are less incompetent than Arabs (higher I.Q, more accomplished cultures).

Victor Davis Hanson was wrong about invading Iraq. But lets be fair. He was right about the surge, and about Obama.

"First of all, it spreads the hateful lie that Jews are against white Christians."

The assertion that some Jews are against Christian is far from hateful. I don't care if anyone is against anyone, quite frankly. But you must be living under a log to have failed to notice the actions of the ADL and the ACLU, both Jewish organizations.

"And it attributes all of the actions of the liberal elite, the majority of whom are gentile, to all Jews, even though most Jews don't share the views of their self-proclaimed leaders."

I wrote that because so many Jews sit idle, while the loudest of the libtard Jews like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz spew ideas that are completely anti-American. Unfortunately, the inaction of the many helps paint all Jews as being like DWS.

"Secondly, it's the very Jews who support these liberal policies you hate who are most likely to be anti-Israel and may even inspire some Israelis to call them self-hating Jews. The Jews who support Israel are more likely to vote Republican."

Like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz? She was just on tv saying that she brings her love of Israel to the office everyday. You might suggest that Rick Perry would same the same, and Palin too. Sure, but it is also important to remember that everyone knows they are not part of the elite and they are not overtly connected. The rules are somewhat different for minorities. As someone with many views that are in the minority, and many lifestyle functions that are also in the minority, I am keenly aware that the actions of a few within a minority group can easily paint the entire group. But that is the reality and the failure of everyday Jews, like my cop neighbors, to shoot down the libtards like the ADL is what I mean when I write about the lack of internal self-reflection on how Jews are perceived.

"Thirdly, white Christians seem pretty pro-Israel, and it's the liberal elite that's more anti-Israel than any other identifiable political group (except for Ron Paulites and a tiny minority of "White Nationalists" who have a much bigger presence on the internet than they do in real life)."

Most white Christians are pro-Isreal, but that doesn't mean they are pro-Jew. As you know, feelings are very complex. Maybe some are pro-Israel because that is the herd thing to do, or because they are anti-Arab. But even if people are pro-Israel, it is the threshold that matters. At what level are they pro-Israel?

"[HS: A rather hypocritical statement, because at the same time the Muslims demand a right of return to Jewish Israel. So it's OK for Muslims to move to and live in Jewish countries, but not OK for Jews to move to and live in Muslim countries (as if any Jews would want to live in a Muslim-controlled Palestine anyway).]"

Maybe so, but I'm talking about the dishonesty of the American conservative movement, which is much more damaging to this country than Muslim hypocrisy. Every statement made by any Muslim is blown up, twisted and exaggerated with a standard Hitler reference thrown in for good measure, while we are to believe Israel is a uniquely virtuous country free of racism, ethnocentrism, xenophobia and other evils.

"... most young Jews are pretty chill these days."

In all sincerity, what does this mean? I beg you to elaborate sir.

Good news for Prof. Hanson: Merck has just announced a new, highly promising drug for paranoid schizophrenia.

Victor Davis Hanson said that the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah War was "WWIII" in his National Review writings. The man is smart, but he tends to be a bit excitable.

Give a date by which this big war happens, and we can put money on the line. I predict no "Israeli-Muslim" war, just continued conflicts with neighbors.

"After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated."

When Israelis say this, the Left screams "APARTHEID!!!"

Yes, it's that time of year again! You can feel it in the air! Let's take look at this years preview of Muslims vs Israel!

While the Muslims appear to be fired up thanks to a change in coaching personnel this past off season, let us not forget that Israel has never lost at home. Israel still has better professional athletes while the Muslims, though having a larger pool of talent to work with, are still trying to make their way out of the volunteer street leagues. Israel is just better coached, disciplined, and have a couple of real secret plays that the Muslims just can't defend against.

It certainly is a heated rivalry! Looking back to 2006, Israel nearly was forced into a draw after the Muslims used some Hezbollah tactics which many thought was in violation to the spirit of the game. However, Israel was able to come back late in the game to win. Many blamed Israel's coaching staff for the near loss. However, it seems that Israel is back to it's normal mid-season form.

I fully expect Israel to win this match-up and should be considered the heavy favorite.

To all you bookies, go ahead and take Israel and the points. They will cover the spread.

Thanks for tuning in to another edition of Israel vs Muslims. Back to you Half Sigma!

The Arabs, Turks, Persians etc can't win because they are losers.

Even if they decimate Israel, they can only make Israel suffer along with them in an outcome where everyone loses kind of like South Africa. What the Jews have no one can take from them and I don't mean the little strip of dirt they currently occupy. I am not talking about mysticism. I mean their intelligence. That is the goose that lays the golden eggs. You can kill the goose and get no eggs but you can't get the eggs without the goose.

>>"... most young Jews are pretty chill these days."

In all sincerity, what does this mean? I beg you to elaborate sir.<<

What is means is that a large fraction of young people who have Jewish parents, are not really caught up in their ethnicity or religion to such an extent that it is "them" against "others." It is so annoying to be around people who are adamant that they are on some racial or ethnic "team." There are no freaking teams; we are each unique. In my experience, outside of the very annoying Hasidic community, most young Jews are chill and not thinking, "I am a Jew, therefore..."

This is just my experience, your mileage may vary. If you are from the NE, then there are a lot of ethnics, with a lot of ethnic pride and all of them are equally repulsive. The Irish come to mind as a bunch of people with an annoying tendency toward completely unchill behavior.

The idea that Turkey and Iran would team up to fight Israel is absurd! Turkey and Iran are vying for regional dominance in the middle east. They are historical enemies. Turkey is Sunni and Iran is Shiite. They would not ally nor would Turkey need Iran as an ally if they wanted to invade Israel.

Turkey wouldn't invade Israel considering the current political landscape. It's much easier for them to dominate the region if they avoid war. Look at how Russia controls the former Soviet Bloc and the USA controls it's puppets, that is how Turkey will dominate the region.

Iran wouldn't because it couldn't without absolutely destroying itself. They'll just continue to talk big and try to maintain their influence.

This guy you are quoting is a complete idiot, and is talking out of his a**.
