As reported by Fox:
Perry said the U.S. -- to show there are "consequences" for the action at the U.N. -- should reconsider its aid to the Palestinians and shut down the Palestinian Liberation Organization's Washington office if the vote proceeds. He also expressed support for continued settlement construction and suggested the U.S. Embassy be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as a nod of support for a united Jerusalem under Israeli rule.
Unfortunately for Perry, if he manages to win the Republican nomination, Jews still won’t vote for him because he comes off as too Christian. As I wrote before, Jews fear Christianity. But Jews will definitely vote for Romney because although he’s heavily into Mormonism, he hides his religiosity under his Garments. In an Obama-Romney election, I predict that a majority of the Jewish vote will go for Romney. Unless something changes between now and November 2012.
Oh man, now I can't wait for Rommey to get the nomination. A majority of Jewish voters will go for him? LMFAO. How about 20%, max?

"In an Obama-Romney election, I predict that a majority of the Jewish vote will go for Romney."
Whoa there. Let the Republicans get the Jews back to the level of support Reagan had before making such pronouncements.

"Jews still won’t vote for him because he comes off as too Christian."
Jews vote Democrat because they are non-ethnocentric. However, racial supremacist prole Jews such as secular Russian and Israeli Jews and Orthodox Jews vote Republican. Only the assimilated, non-Jewish Jews, are liberal.
As was demonstrated in the NY-09 special election (and in complete contradiction to the ronpaul-kevinmacdonald-buchanan line of thought), Jewish ethnocentric racial supremacists vote GOP.
In almost every survey, the prole Jews who vote Republican are always more ethnocentric than liberal Jews.

No way. Romney would get a maximum of 33% of the Jewish vote if running against Obama.
Posted by: Camlost | September 20, 2011 at 03:30 PM
Romney is a loser, he'll never defeat Obama. Conservative christians won't turn out for him, just like independents won't vote for perry. Both candidates will lose against Obama. And that's with a shitty economy. If the economy was better it wouldn't even be close

How Jews vote in Presidential elections is not that important (with the exception of local elections in a few areas such as NY's 12th District, Florida's 21st, California's 30th, etc).
How Jews donate money is what makes the biggest impact - especially given that Jews traditionally provide over half the campaign contributions the Democractic party takes in.

"It means you and HS are a bunch of vulgar, brutish, and uncouth PROLES!!!!!!!!"
Um, yes, the HBD Jews prove my point that those who identify as Jewish, such as me and Half Sigma and Moldbug, support pro-white policies while the assimilated, non-ethnocentric Jews vote Democrat because they have assimilated into liberal WASP political mores.
What are you upset about?

The genetic quality of anti-Semite appears to have declined significantly since 1945.

TUJ:
Many of the WNs/paleos believe that HS's favored word "prole" is in fact nothing but an insulting anti-white slur. Seriously, I think many of them seriously despise HS and think he's an evil white-hater solely because of his use of that word.
So, "Biteme" is demonstrating the irony he perceives, that in your attempt to defend Jews from KMac's accusation you are actually labelling HS and yourself with that slur.

It shows how much power Jews have that even candidates who don't have a chance of winning the Jewish vote (i.e. Perry, Palin) still bend over backwards to impress them. At this point Jews take it as a given that all U.S. politicians give complete and total support to Israel so it's no longer enough to impress Jews or even make them like you (look at Half Sigma's disdain for Sarah Palin despite her fanatical support for Israel).
Posted by: Linda | September 20, 2011 at 06:49 PM
Because Jews are such a small portion of the population, the Jewish vote really only matters to the extent donations are a corollary of it; in other words, it matters a lot.

The Undiscovered Jew,
Do you support assortative migration and free association for Whites to form communities that exclude whomever they want?
Posted by: Mark | September 20, 2011 at 07:33 PM
Obama will still get a majority of the Jewish vote, but the intensity of support (and money) will be far less.

"How Jews donate money is what makes the biggest impact - especially given that Jews traditionally provide over half the campaign contributions the Democractic party"
This is another ronpaul-buchanan antisemitic lie. The Jews are not over 50% of Democrat donors. Why are you letting this anti-Semitic paleocon garbage through moderation, Sigma? If you're going to let this through then why not drop moderation (or at least turn it on and off so the flow of conversation isn't slowed).

Man, I am skeptical. That is way too high. Maybe 10% at most.

Probably because the standard definition of "anti-Semite" has expanded quite a bit.

As others are saying, Romney does not get any more of the Jewish vote than other Republicans.
The problem with Jewish donations and influence is that a lot of it is ethnocentric. The biggest contributor to the Democratic Party is some Israeli whackjob behind the Power Rangers franchise.

I don't know the truth one way or the other, but these two statements are not in contradiction.

I'm from Texas and never have noticed Perry as being particularly religious. His religious tone since he announced for the presidency is just political positioning.

I'd really like to see a post on what 'support for Israel' means and why it is a good thing. It seems to me that support for Israel means unconditionally and fully backing Israel and anything the Israeli government decides to do. I don't see why any country should support any other country, or their own government, to this extent. Please, enlighten me.
[HS: It means the same thing as support for South Korea or support for Kuwait: to prevent them from being taken over by their enemies.]

In presidential elections, Democratic candidates depend on Jewish supporters to supply as much as 60 percent of the money raised from private sources. Any significant reduction in the financial support will weaken Democratic candidates and the Democratic Party organizations."

"Romney is a loser"
Let's see: Harvard Law & MBA, co-founded one of the most successful private equity firms, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, married to a still-beautiful 1st wife with 5 healthy kids, successfully elected governor of MA, successfully turned around 2002 Olympics -- "loser" isn't the first adjective that comes to mind to describe Romney.
"It shows how much power Jews have that even candidates who don't have a chance of winning the Jewish vote (i.e. Perry, Palin) still bend over backwards to impress them."
That's true in part. The spectrum of attitudes toward Israel in national politics runs from neutral (Ron Paul, whose views are barely within the Overton window on this) to pro-Israel (the Dems, including Obama), to rabidly pro-Israel (Perry). But zealous pro-Israel positions by the GOP aren't just a play for Jewish votes: they're also a play for Evangelical votes.
Posted by: DaveinHackensack | September 21, 2011 at 06:52 AM
Is there any mainstream American politician in either political party who is actually anti-Israel? I can't even think of one who is neutral. Being pro-Israel is a litmus test that every candidate must pass, and one that even Obama passes with flying colors. Of course if pro-Israel is not enough for you, if you need actively putting Israeli interests ahead of the interests of the US then maybe Perry is your man.

"[HS: It means the same thing as support for South Korea or support for Kuwait: to prevent them from being taken over by their enemies.]"
There's no realistic threat that Israel will be taken over by its enemies and giving them such unconditional support (even when they are in the wrong) has been turning their enemies into America's enemies. And you conveniently would never argue that America support Palestinians to prevent them from being taken over by their enemies.
"But zealous pro-Israel positions by the GOP aren't just a play for Jewish votes: they're also a play for Evangelical votes."
Most importantly, zealous pro-Israel positions by any politician is probably an attempt to get the media on their side.
[HS: America DOES support the Palestinians. We send them money, and we keep trying to get Israel to give them land for peace under the delusion that they actually want peaceful coexistence with a Jewish Israel.]

Indeed. The people making pronouncements about Obama's defeat will be in for a big surprise come 2012.

"Indeed. The people making pronouncements about Obama's defeat will be in for a big surprise come 2012."
So far, the surprises have been going mostly the other way since Obama walked into the White House:
- A Republican won Ted Kennedy's old seat in MA.
- Republican governors won in NJ (where the Obama actively campaigned against him, and the Dem incumbent had a big $$ advantage, as a former Goldman Sachs chief worth hundreds of millions of dollars) and VA.
- In 2010 Republicans won the largest number of House seats in any election since the 1930s.
- Last week, a Republican won an NYC House seat that had been controlled by Dems for ~90 years.
"Romney's wife is NOT beautiful."
She looks spectacular for 62 years old. Is Romney a "loser" for not replacing his wife with a new model every ten years?

There's about three of us, I'm afraid. Half of my Jewish friends are convinced that if the Christians take over, they'll be building more ovens.
[HS: Which proves my point that Jews vote Democratic because the fear Christianity, and not because they are anti-white or some other such anti-Semitic nonsense.
Jews have a valid historical basis for fearing Christianity, although I think that it's not a big threat in the present. However Jews, like everyone else, tend to vote they way they do out of habit rather than because they've given it a lot of deep thought.]

"There's no realistic threat that Israel will be taken over by its enemies and giving them such unconditional support (even when they are in the wrong) has been turning their enemies into America's enemies."
Arabs/Muslims don't hate America because of our support for Israel. Arabs/Muslims hate America because they have higher average testosterone then Europeans, because they follow a religion that tells them they should (and will) rule the Earth, because they see modern liberal Western sensibilities as sissy, and because they are riding a huge wave of youthful population growth/energy that people of European descent can only vaguely remember. Given all that, many Arabs/Muslims think/feel that they should be rule/lord over/dominate us, not vice-versa. And the two biggest forces that keeps white domination over Arabs/Muslims in place are the American military, and the American economy.
It's similar to one of the main reasons why ghetto black guys hate the police - the cops are the first line of force that keeps those high-testosterone guys from having the dominance they feel is otherwise rightly theirs.
Israel is of course a factor, too. Seems to me that many Arabs/Muslims perceive Israel as white colonialism, occupying their land and eventually needing to leave (like the US army in Iraq), and the responsibility of white people everywhere, whether we directly support Israel or not. Given the emotional childishness of the bulk of Arabs/Muslims, and the power their their demographic surge, I think that they are unfortunately unlikely to grow out of such a worldview, and support peaceful coexistence, any time soon.

"So far, the surprises have been going mostly the other way since Obama walked into the White House:

And he's gonna lose it soon enough to Elizabeth Warren.
"Republican governors won in NJ (where the Obama actively campaigned against him, and the Dem incumbent had a big $$ advantage, as a former Goldman Sachs chief worth hundreds of millions of dollars) and VA." - Dave
State elections have little relevance to presidential politics. Does anyone seriously believe NJ is in play?
"In 2010 Republicans won the largest number of House seats in any election since the 1930s." - Dave
Really? I thought they won more in 1994. In any case back in 94 they also took control of the senate. They failed to do that in 2010. Despite the triumphalism of 94 Dole failed to defeat Clinton two years later. Congressional elections aren't always the best predictors of presidential races.
"Last week, a Republican won an NYC House seat that had been controlled by Dems for ~90 years." Dave
That "Republican" appears to be a moderate or RINO as some would say. He campaigned against Obama by denouncing him as Bush's third term.
"She looks spectacular for 62 years old. Is Romney a "loser" for not replacing his wife with a new model every ten years?" - Dave
Well American hero and astronaut Buzz Aldrin trades in his wives for better looking ones every so often. He's in his 80's and just got himself a 51 year old cougar after getting rid of his last wrinkled old hag.
