Business Insider has a an excellent article by Professor Brad Scharlott which explains the the reasons why he suspects that Sarah Palin has been dishonest about her pregnancy.
However, the recent Levi Johnston book seems to support the idea that Sarah Palin did give birth to Trig. To believe that the birth was a hoax, one also has to believe that Johnston, who appears to hate the Palins, is for some reason covering for them. The Hollywood Gossip reports:
Levi Johnston says Bristol Palin was angry when she discovered Sarah was expecting her fifth child (son Trig) and felt she should be the one preggo instead.
According to Johnston, Bristol told him in March 2008, "let's get pregnant."
Whether that HOT directive actually took place or not, he obliged all right.
This does at least confirm that the Palin family is low class. The very day that McCain announced that Palin was his running mate, I wrote:
As far as I can tell, her only qualification for the job is that she's Christian. Besides two years as governor of Alaska, her only other experience is as the Mayor of Wasilla, a town I've never heard of before. She's married to a blue collar guy who hasn't graduated from college. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho, which sounds like a pretty bogus school. She's a beauty contest winner who likes to hunt, fish, eat mooseburgers, and who won't abort a child with Down's Syndrome. This all sounds depressingly borderline high prole/lower middle class.
Mind you that I wrote that BEFORE the liberal media began to pick her apart, so for those people who think that my opinion of Sarah Palin is based on being brainwashed by the liberal media, the truth is that people who read my blog got the inside scoop BEFORE the MSM figured it out.
I've been told that I should like her because she has an Israeli flag in her office, which is good, but I formed my negative opinion before I learned about the flag.
Your awfully obsessed with a person that will never hold office again in her life, and likely won't run for office either.

I don't know that I agree with you about her qualifications. Is there really much difference between being the governor of a small state and a large one? I don't think so.
Posted by: CamelCaseRob | September 21, 2011 at 12:09 AM
The flag shouldn't surprise you. You know fundies love Israel.

First off, Levi could have been bought out by Palin who is mega rich. How much would it have cost Palin to bribe this young punk.
Second, so your opinion on someone can be swayed by just having an Isreali flag in their office? You are really shallow.

HS writes, "This does at least confirm that the Palin family is low class."
Yeah. Too bad she can't be "high class" like Strauss-Kahn or Eliot Spitzer or Anthony Weiner or Jeffrey Eptsein. And that's just in your backyard. Don't kid yourself buddy. The elitists do things that would make a crack w**** blush.
The only difference I see between the Palin girl and all the "upper class" daughters who've been knocked up is that we don't know about the latter because their kids were never born. So I guess you could say not killing your kid is "prole" behavior.

Has it ever occurred to you that Palin might be averse to answering questions because she fabricated details of Trig's birth in some misguided attempt to appear more personally resilient (i.e., putting the demands of the campaign above personal medical necessity, its direct political analogue being a willingness to sacrifice personally on behalf of her constituents while in office)?
If this supposition holds, now that she's lied, she's committed to the story even though it makes her look irresponsible wrt the welfare of her child (a response she did not anticipate).
That strikes me as more parsimonious than the notion of some complex conspiracy you've been positing, especially given Johnston's take.
In addition, Johnston's claim that Bristol wanted to get pregnant strikes me as generally concordant with the piss poor future time orientation exhibited by teenage girls. I tutored (and frequently subsequently fucked; thanks Roissy!) many over the course of three years during college and can attest to the fact that the defining behavioral characteristic of high school girls is an insatiable appetite for attention (as in, well above and beyond any other demographic subset I've encountered).
Basically, Bristol was quasi-Oedipally jealous of the attention her mother was receiving so she engaged the most guaranteed recourse for realigning this situation in her favor.

Sarah Palin had a fling with Glenn Rice. Also very prole.
Posted by: Johnny | September 21, 2011 at 04:15 AM
She is marginally more anti-pc than almost every other politician and she drives the progressives NUTS, they discredit themselves further in attacking her. She has a large family, which we want white people to do (good role model).
VPOTUS really doesn't matter all that much, she would have little to no influence on policy. And, look at biden. He may not be a prole, but he certainly is a drooling retard. I don't see how palin could be worse.
And her husband did basically the smart thing for a "prole" to do and avoided getting into student loan debt, and he's made a nice blue collar living for himself, now married to a multi millionaire.

and, i think you should spend more of your brainpower on barack obama's questionable parentage and his questionable authorship of his two autobiographies
Posted by: anonmouse | September 21, 2011 at 05:14 AM
The sad truth is that she was the most "qualified" candidate of the four in the last election. Two obviously brain-damaged,unstable old men and a mal-educated, delusional black man. Does this indicate the collapse of the American political system?

Not that it matters as far as Palin is concerned, but McClatchy/Marist shows that she is closer to beating Obama in polls that the frontrunner, Ponzi Perry. We should be doing everything we can to convince Democrats to vote in Republican primaries for the lesser of two evils (from their perspective), Mitt Romney. Romney is more likely to beat Obama, but Perry’s polls could align with the “generic Republican” poll numbers, if he becomes the nominee. Sensible Democrats would not want to risk having President Perry when they could have a much smarter moderate. If Perry wins and grants amnesty, the Republicans will cease to be a national party, but don’t tell that to Democrats.

Not to worry HS, demographic changes will take care of this. Instead of having borderline PWT like the Palins in the White House, in no time we'll have a Primera Familia in the WH. The official limousine will be a lowered '63 Chevy Impala, ranchera music will be played at state dinners, the president's 19 y/o daughter will have 4 children and be pregant with another - all while waddling around pushing a stroller, and the president's cabinet will consist of a bunch of guys all hanging around doing nothing, wearing baseball caps from colleges they could not possibly have attended.
On the plus side, the WH lawns will probably never look better.

Governor and mayor, especially of town of which you've never heard, and married to, gasp, a man who works for living. The horror! The horror!
"who won't abort a child with Down's Syndrome."
I wonder what EUropean political movement of the 20th century wanted life unworthy of life terminated? No doubt they, too, were upper class concerned about the proles breeding too numerously. I wonder what solutions they had to the problem of too many useless people.
Two articles in two days from unimpeachable authorities, the first from Sailer and the second from Hollywood Gossip that contradict HS: Palin didn't fake the birth and Obama isn't smart.
Reality, I see, is tough on everyone.

Levi Johnston also believes that Bristol Palin's sudden major face alterations (eyes, cheeks, lips, massive chin where no chin previously existed) was down to a corrective orthodontic realignment - and guess who told him that?.

"Mind you that I wrote that BEFORE the liberal media began to pick her apart"
Yeah and for the next three years you pumped the completely ridiculous Trig Birther position.
You actually expect us to congratulate you on your bizarre Palin opining? The blog became practically unreadable.

"Sarah Palin had a fling with Glenn Rice. Also very prole." - Johnny
"Prole" is believing tabloid gossip without evidence.

Don't make me think twice about immigration restriction. That would be too funny.

Glenn Rice confirmed the fling.
Sarah Palin's daughter has also dated a black guy, an Italian, and a redneck. Pretty prole dating habits, I hate to say.

"Glenn Rice confirmed the fling. "
Uh did he? Lets see a quote.

"and who won't abort a child with Down's Syndrome." It sounds like the blogger has a little bit of the Nazi in him. Perhaps he would advocate forced abortions for many more children? Why quit at the obvious genetic mutations?
Speaking of Nazis, obviously he is obsessed with Israel and seems to disregard their brutal treatment of the people under their "jurisdiction". Unfortunately for Israel, demographics will spell the end of the Jewish state in the next 25 years. Not that I give a shit one way or the other.

Even though Sarah Palin is an idiot, your original theory of Trigg's birth was quite insane and cost you considerable credibility.

Why is everyone on Half Sigma's case for the Trigg conspiracy? What about his obsession with Obama's birth certificate? I never read complaints about that in fact commentators supported him for "asking the tough questions".
