Al Sharpton threatens riots

If George Zimmerman is not arrested in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin soon, the Rev. Al Sharpton will call for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions. . . . "I will speak about how the National Action Network will move to the next level if Zimmerman isn't arrested," Sharpton said, who founded the organization. He added that it was the Martin family and lawyers who first asked him to get involved and nationalize this story.

Will Angela Corey cave in to this intimidation and charge Zimmerman before the “peaceful” disobedience happens?

The last sentence is probably true to the extent that Ben Crump got Sharpton involved. It’s false to the extent it implies that the Martin family is actually running the show.

A crazy and sickening thought popped in my head a moment ago. What if George Zimmerman commits suicide in the midst of all of this hoopla? I can't help but feel for this guy. He's basically a "marked" man. He's got "rallies" which look like lynch mobs to me calling for his arrest. He has $10000 bounty on his head. People aren't just "gunning" for him, but in essece any and everyone tied to him. I'm not advocating that George kill himself but with all that's going on right now, it could drive even the most sanest person to do the unthinkable.

I was expelled from a school when I was kid just foe being late all the time. And now I'm doing well and have never been arrested in my life and have no criminal record. They discussed this rigmarole of a case quite a bit on Bill Maher tonight. I'm amazed how the mainstream media is still sticking to the "innocent boy buying candy gunned down by racist gun nut". One of the guests (Van Jones) even said something in the way of "do black people have to go out in public wearing tuxedoes in order not to get harrassed?" (not the exact words).
They clung to Zimmerman's past issues with the law, and only remotely touched Trayvon's past behavior.

Latest news developments aren't looking good for George Zimmerman. The idea that his lack of apparent injuries on the police surveillance tape was due to having been cleaned up by an ambulance crew at the shooting scene is now in doubt because the police had cancelled their call for the second ambulance. Only one ambulance was at the scene, and its crew obviously was dealing with Trayvon Martin. Whatever injuries Zimmerman may have suffered did not merit medical attention.

It just came out today that two forensic voice analysts who listened to the neighbor's 911 call with screaming in the background have concluded that the person doing the screaming was *not* Zimmerman. Both said it was the voice of a younger person, although as they didn't have a sample of Martin's voice for comparison purposes they could not declared that it was his.
