Blog traffic has doubled since I started blogging about Trayvon Martin. Despite some readers who think I love it when that happens, in fact I don’t. The blog has no advertising, so I don’t make any money if more people find it. And non-regular readers leave annoying comments which I have to delete. Usually I can spot them right away; they have atrociously poor spelling and grammar and stick up for Trayvon Martin. I’ve been deleting these comments because the purpose of this blog is to have a discussion of like-minded intelligent readers.
I’ve also deleted some moronic comments that were pro-Zimmerman, but they are heavily outnumbered by the pro-Trayvon moronic comments.
When a comment doesn’t look like it was written by a moron, but is still pro-Trayvon, then I do some more investigation to see if the comment is from a regular reader. If I find evidence that the comment was left by a regular reader, then I let it pass. Otherwise I delete it.
