According to the report, on Oct. 21 staffers monitoring a security camera at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School spotted Trayvon and two other students writing “W.T.F.,” an acronym for “What the f---,” on a hallway locker, according to schools police. The security employee, who knew Trayvon, confronted the teen and looked through his bag for the graffiti marker.
Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described the screwdriver as a burglary tool.
Trayvon was asked if the jewelry, which was mostly women’s rings and earrings, belonged to his family or a girlfriend.
“Martin replied it’s not mine. A friend gave it to me,” according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend.
. . .
That suspension was followed four months later by another one, in February, in which Trayvon was caught with an empty plastic bag with traces of marijuana in it, the boy’s family’s attorney has confirmed. A schools police report obtained by The Miami Herald specifies two items: a bag with marijuana residue and a “marijuana pipe.”
The suspension was the third for the teen. On Monday, the family also acknowledged Trayvon had earlier been suspended for tardiness and truancy.
It’s also mentioned in the article that the marijuana suspension was a 10-day suspension, and not five days as incorrectly reported previously.
The more we learn about this kid, the more he appears to be a hoodlum. No wonder why Zimmerman thought he looked suspicious.

An angle of this case which is going to go overlooked is that a bunch of ignorant rednecks using only their computers and google.com were able to unearth massively more information than the elite educated high-iq-not-that-that-means-anything liberals in the state-controlled media.

Reminiscent of the knucklehead kid from Jena 6, Mychal Bell. The media presents him as unduly innocent and only after the case reaches super nova do we learn he's a troublemaker.

George Zimmerman would have never been on the ground fighting had he not left his truck to try and harass that black youth. That is the mistake he made, and that is the mistake that will send him to jail for a very long time. Either George is made a sacrificial lamb to the black community, or they'll find their own lambs.

This isn't about Trayvon anymore. We need to move on to Phase 2 by pointing out the "lessons" of this. That large percentage of blacks and SWPL's used false claims against a hispanic man to demonize whites.

Didn't he also beat up a bus driver? Yep, this kid had some issues! I think that this young man's parents seem like the type who rather than address the issues going on with their son, blame everyone else for the child's screw ups. Cyber blast me if you must but if George Zimmerman didn't get him, he either would have gotten his from some other thug on the street or he'd be sitting behind bars before it was all said and done.
I do feel for Trayvon's parents. Regardless of how much of a hooligan this young man seemed to have been, no parent should have to bury their child. In this case, they want someone to blame. Maybe it's easier to blame George Zimmerman rather than ask themselves what more they could have done to help this young man. Three suspensions, being in possession of marijuana, (alledgedly) attacking a school bus driver...this was a kid who was well on his way to prison or...well...being exactly what he is now, dead.

I wonder if any black has any self awareness whatsoever, the humiliation must be unbearable. That's probably why all the dl stuff.
Anyway, I think blacks and all martin supporters should apologize.

Don't let any idiot tell you the decline of newspapers is a good thing. Contentious editorial bents notwithstanding local and regionally based media are treasures. The problem is the Manhattan/DC chattering classes. They are reprehensible.

Indeed and it was us "racists" who came to the defense of a man of color like Zimmerman when no one else would.

Martin transferred schools in the middle of Sophomore year so I wonder if this even includes suspensions at his old school or even past the beginning of this school year.

Surprised you haven't picked this up. Never to early to make some money off this:

I have a feeling this case will fall apart pretty soon. It looks like Zimmerman had good cause and the kid was a hoodlum. This case has the feel of overkill by the black community – like a lot of things Sharpton has done or the Duke lacrosse case. Black leaders were the ones who pushed this story in the beginning and the liberal media (especially MSNBC) felt compelled to go along. Back when the black community was represented by white Gentiles liberals and Jewish liberals, they wouldn't have made this mistake.

The black "community" aka race hustlers are paranoid and delusional. They think everything and everyone is out to get them. We in the HBD community understand them better than they understand themselves. From the beginning we knew this story was dubious. Now even idiotic liberals are backpedaling. I wonder if Obama still wants to posthumously adopt Trayvon?

The hits just keep on coming, don't they? Why trademark your dead son? I knew it was only going to be a matter of time before greed factored into this. Someone else says that the family has a website for "donations" too. That's why his parents are always on tv talking about this case and their "good kid". There's still money to made off of all of this.
I happen to be black and in the beginning, I was one of those people who wanted Zimmerman's head on a platter for killing what I thought was an innocent child. The more I'm learning, the more duped I feel. Trayvon Martin, God bless his soul, was a troubled kid. The parents need to get off tv and accept that nothing is going to bring this kid back. They also need to accept the facts of this case, that this man really did act in self-defense. Their son struck first when there was clearly no need to do so. They need to spare themselves and their son's memory further embarassment and jus let this story and this case (no pun intended) die down.

AirBear,
Well said! I suspected something was amiss when this kid's high school hadn't spoken up to "defend" him. Three suspensions (that we know of!!) plus he had attendance issues. I can't feel too bad for his parents because they are guilty too here of keeping this story alive. Everytime I turn on the tv, they are being interviewed and selling the same old garbage about "justice for trayvon" and "George Zimmerman needs to be arrested". I guess they naively thought that with them keeping this ball rolling that no one was going to start more closely at Trayvon himself. Now that the truth is coming out about Tray, suddenly they want to say he's being dragged through the mud, his name is being smeared, etc. Any good lawyer worth their money is going to do the same thing should this all go to trial. What about George Zimmerman's name being dragged through the mud? Even if no charges are filed against him, the damage has been done to his life, his name and his reputation. But I forgot, Tray is the "victim" so everyone else be damned.

That's one of the rules of putting up a good defense. Attack the credibility of the other party involved. It's not a smear campaign but rather a good lawyer doing their job. I too am amazed his parents are still pushing this. If this thing does make it to trial, the stuff coming about Travon will just be the tip of the iceberg. I bet if you keep digging in this boy's life, his actions prior to the day he died, a lot more damning stuff is going to come out. I don't think Travon's parents can afford to have this die down. It should tell you something when their attorneys have a website takng in donations to help the family pay for their legal expenses. The very people they are trusting to "fight for justice" are the main ones who are lining their pockets here. This isn't about race. It's about money.

Careful Saints4life! To against them means you're automatically an Uncle Tom. Ask Joe Oliver. I'm extremely slow here but I've never gotten why they use the term Uncle Tom. Seems kinda silly to me...
