After searching around, my source for this information is MacRanger:
According to a source with knowledge of the investigation in to the Trayvor Martin shooting, three witnesses have now been identified that all confirm that Martin was on top on Zimmerman before he was shot. Details are sketchy, but some of the witnesses confirm hearing Zimmerman yelling for help and one witness states that Martin could be heard yelling at Zimmerman, calling him a “honkey” and saying “You’re going to die” or some words to that effect.
The problem is that MacRanger has proven to be an unreliable source of inside information. He said that he had information that Zimmerman wasn’t going to be charged, but he was completely wrong about that. (But if you want to give MacRanger the benefit of the doubt, perhaps someone at Angela Corey’s office saw all of the evidence, including the exculpatory evidence, and couldn’t possibly believe that Zimmerman could be charged based on that, and relayed that impression to MacRanger.)
* * *
“Turambar” pointed out in a comment that MacRanger also gave us false information about Trayvon Martin not have ice tea and Skittles on him. In fact, he did.
I have to conclude there’s a good chance that MacRanger is just making stuff up.
TM is a black thug. i believe that he could say "you're gonna die". they say that in all the rap songs.
plus, he is a "no limit nigga", and a nigga without limits, well, he doesn't have limits.
he goes all the way.

Previously, there had been allegations that Zimmerman said "Coons", which to me sounded completely ridiculous, as I seriously doubt that "coon" is a racial slur that people still use. It seemed to me that the reporters were trying to live the 1960s over.
The allegations that Trayvon said "Honkie" sound similarly ridiculous. Wasn't honkie something that someone last said in the 1970s? I don't hang out with black people that call white people names, so maybe I'm wrong about this, but Trayvon doesn't seem like the type of kid who would call random hispanic guys "honkie".
[HS: Well like I said, this MacRanger guy is not a reliable source of inside information.]

GMR writes, "I don't hang out with black people that call white people names, so maybe I'm wrong about this"
You probably do. They just don't say it while they're hanging out with you. haha

Based on earlier reports, Zimmerman told police that Martin said "you're going to die now" during the fight when Zimmerman's gun became visible. This seems consistent with the fact that eyewitnesses report seeing the fight as it was taking place, but not necessarily the initial pre-fight confrontation. I also think that, based on previous reports, if eyewitnesses heard Martin utter the word "honky" or some other racial slur, this occurred during the right rather than before it.
If eyewitnesses did hear Martin say either one or both of these things, it is certainly helpful to Zimmerman's cause. Nevertheless, what matters most is what precipitated the fight. Statements during made during the fight are often not indicative of who or what started that fight. Having witnessed numerous bar fights, I know that people are as likely to direct threats or insults at those who attack them as they are at those they attack. For example, when two white people are battling, it is almost de rigueur for one or both to refer to the other as a "fag." Also, if one of the participates is the slightest bit portly, the other will not hesitate to point this out. I have never thought that either statement uttered during the fight established that the fight was over the sexual persuasion or weight of one of the participants. When a black person is fighting a non-black person, it is also very common to hear the black person direct racial epithets (including honky) at the non-black person. Once again, it rarely appears to be the case that the fight started as a disagreement over race.

'You probably do. They just don't say it while they're hanging out with you. haha"
Chances are, they may have said it when he's been around. Black people don't just use "honkie" and "cracker" as racial slurs against whites. They use "yt", "snowflakes", "clear people", "pasties", "beckies" to describe a white woman. How do I know these? I went to a predominantly black high school. It was public school and unfortiunately it was the one in the district that my address was in.
The point is, the very same black people tha throw that race card are the same ones calling you every racial slur in the book...not necessarily behind your back.

I think your instinct is right about MacRanger.
He says that GZ wont be charged with murder (false) and that "will not be in the grand jury instruction". Well as we know Corey had already made the decision that she didnt need a grand jury. So MacRanger was wrong there too.
He also said:
"When police arrived on the scene Martin didn’t have either Skittles or an ice tea. In fact the area where he was stopped wasn’t even on a route to a store. These are other facts told to me by an anonymous source within the Sandford Police department."
http://macsmind.com/wordpress/2012/03/trayvor-martin-didnt-have-skittles-and-ice-tea-in-his-possession-when-shot/
That is also incorrect.
Dale Gilbreath's testimony was that he had no id on him but skittles as ice tea were on the body. And he was on the store video tape buying them.
Is this "anonymous source" in the police department feeding him bum information? Or is MacRanger making crap up? Doesnt really matter- MacRanger has proven that he ought to be ignored on all factual maters in this.

@Rivelino
Parents named him TM. He chose No Limit Nigga. Henceforth I shall refer to TM as No Limit Nigga in all future commentary.

If this goes to trial jury selection is gonna be vitally important.
I doubt there are many blacks in the state of Florida who haven't formed an emotional and very biased view of Zimmerman's guilt.

I agree with KLO about the fight. What matter is who started it. According to Detective Gilbreath, they have no evidence to contradict Zimmerman's story. If this is the case, how do they convict?
I've no time for MacRanger.

I have no doubt that Martin was on top of GZ, but blacks don't call you 'honkie.' As perhaps America's preeminent authority on getting beat up by blacks, I know that 'motherfucker' is the all-purpose rage epithet.

Black people don't just use "honkie" and "cracker" as racial slurs against whites*************************************************
Maybe this is locale-dependent, like most slang.
Where I teach, black teens use "cracker" all the time.

Blacks use cracker in NYC too.

KLO--
It’s highly implausible that Zimmerman started the physical fight. O’Mara will be able to make this point at the immunity hearing.
First of all there’s no indication on the call to police that he made that he was mad at Trayvon. Instead he was suspicious of him. Trayvon on the other had had plenty of reason for a black young man to be mad at Zimmerman. He felt “dissed” at being profiled, suspected and followed.
Further he knew the police were coming in a few minutes. He’d called them a few minutes before. Someone might have seen him start the fight and he’d get charged with assault and battery.
Further Zimmerman had a gun. It’s very risky to get into a physical fight when you have a gun. What ended up happening can happen subjecting you to all kinds of complications at the very least. Worse the other guy can discover your gun, take it from you and shoot you. Trayvon didn’t have a gun and didn’t know that Zimmerman had a concealed one when he started the fight.
Further Trayvon was an athletic and in shape 6’2” 160lb football player to Zimmerman’s 5’8” self.
Beyond all that even Trayvon’s friend DeeDee says that Trayvon initiated the verbal confrontation by demanding of Zimmerman “why are you following me?” Zimmerman say he started it by demanding “You got a problem with me?”

I went to school in a housing project in a majority black city. It's been a while but most were saying "honky" back then. I think more say "cracka" today. I've also heard "pinkies" and "pigskins".

I've mostly been called "motherf'er" and "bitch". But I've been called "honky" and even "nigga". Never while punching though. It's always been during a clinch or on the ground.

"Further Trayvon was an athletic and in shape 6’2” 160lb football player to Zimmerman’s 5’8” self."
As I've pointed out multiple times to no avail, Trayvon Martin WAS NOT a football player. He had been in a children's league and last played at age 13.
At 6'2" and 160 pounds he was a twig with less muscle tone than your great-grandmother, and wouldn't have lasted five minutes in a high school football game.

He thought he was a "no limit nigga." Then he got shot. Now you know. Please stop writing pointless comments. Thanks.

Kudos to H.S for treating a source skeptically after getting burned once. Although I think it's a stretch to try and come up with stories justifying him after the fact.

Can you get me a cite on that? I thought when he was first arrested to check his school website for height weight info on their football roster. But they don't list anything for any players. So I can neither confirm or deny that he was on the team.
The football team doesnt seem to be that good anyway they were 6-5 and their only all state player was their punter.
Btw Jerry Rice the greatest NFL reciever of all time was 6'2 170 and high school teams are a LOT smaller than pro teams.
He could very easily be a WR he is just about ideal size/weight for a high school wr. DB, QB, TE maybe even a OLB. He is tall to be a running back but if he is fast enough he could easily start for a bad high school team. That is about half the positions on the field. Only lineman fullback and middle linebacker are completely out.
And peter you should do a image search for his prom photos. This was a big athletic boy. In fact if he is 6'2 I would bet alot that he is 10-15 lbs north of 160.

Don't let size fool you, Peter. Even the smallest guys pack a powerful punch. You gotta stop drinking the koolaid the MSM and Ben Crook Crump have been dishing out. This boy was no "twig" nor was he as innocent as people make him out to be.
Those slurs are pretty telling. I've been called a "snowbunny" to my face before. Never thought much of it until now...
Makes me wonder what other kind of slurs Trayvon used on George.
Posted by: Anonymous | April 25, 2012 at 08:05 AM
At 6'2, 160lbs you could clearly play any position but line.

The big issue will be the authenticity of call records for Treyvon's phone. If you look at the PDF copies posted by the Martin family attorneys, you will notice that all times indicated are Pacific Standard Time. If the phone records are authentic, then Martin was talking with his girl friend from byond the grave almost three hours after he was shot! A more plausible explanation is that Ben Crump and his associates modified the PDF copies of genuine records to create the impression that calls occurred immediately before the confrontation then coached Dee Dee on her testimony to them.
