Zimmerman looks kind of skinny here... probably like 150 pounds given his height.

From a really superficial standpoint (no less superficial than thinking that an attractive woman is more likely to think Zimmerman's guilty), the buzz cut and a couple days of growth definitely makes Zimmerman look more criminal.

What the heck man.

She has the worst case of man face I've seen in a while.. I guess that thing about masculine women and lawyers has some truth to it after all..

Looks like she is a Dems wet dream...
Here is the data:

Christ almighty. She's an average middle-aged woman.

And stop portraying those advocating for Zimmerman's prosecution as likening him to Hitler. He's not Hitler, he's just an idiot who wanted to be a hero.

Do you think having a female judge works for or against him HS?

commenter on that site points out she was the democratic favorite candidate, between this and the outright lies in the charging documents, looks like the fix is solidly in

Meh, maybe a six. At the most.

eyes: black, beady, demonic orbs reflecting the abyss
nose: bulbously masculine
shoulders: linebacker
jaw: lantern
breasts: flapjacks

hoo boys, what we've got here is a gen-yoo-wine lawyerc*nt. don't stare at it too long. they interpret that as a challenge to their rank. couple her with that english bulldog corey and zman is royally f'ed.

women seem more likely to be anti-Zimmerman. not a good thing for him.

Not only is she not the least bit hot, she looks like someone who would blow even the simplest hearsay rulings. You really need a thread about how law has become feminist dominated - almost like a branch of H.R.

90% of judges are women in Western Europe, and this phenomenon seems to spread to America.

This is ironic because this job has been for a very long time forbidden to women.

I think rulers of the past understood that letting women be judges would lead to more irrational and sentimental decisions (less "blind" decisions).

Guaranteed she's completely hairless.

***women seem more likely to be anti-Zimmerman. not a good thing for him.***

That's because they saw the cute pic of young Trayvon and their brains turned to mush.

This morning a female colleague in my legal team saw this case in the world section of our daily paper and said "at last" Zimmerman had been charged. A couple of others nodded.

I don't think they read sites like this, so based on MSM coverage the issue is quite clear cut to them.

Her ONLY priority will be to avoid being held responsible for Rodney King-type riots.

In other words: Zimmerman is doomed.

hot babe? Can't be serious.

Alex hints at an interesting point. What effect are female lawyers and judges having on the judicial process?

Hot babe! HS, Have you been blogging inside a prison in the last few years?

Oh, please. You sound like a bunch of bitter old queens. Why don't you misogynists just get it over with and call her "fish"? At least women-hating gay men are honest...they don't want to date the people they despise. Instead of Madonna/Whore, some of you have a Babe/Dyke complex. News flash: women are human, and when it comes to the humanities and language, we are, on average, more talented than men. I don't know anything about this judge, and for all I know, she's as bad as you think, but her appearance says nothing about her competence. As I've noticed many times before, whenever this part of the blogosphere discusses women or gays, intelligent people suddenly get stupid.

"News flash: women are human, and when it comes to the humanities and language, we are, on average, more talented than men."

With a non-sequitor like that at least we can be sure you're a real live girl. Putting that far superior language talent to great use, like in the great female literary masterpieces such as Twilight, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.

Truer words were never spoken.

IQ doesn't mean one is not a poor thinker, there are plenty of people with higher then average intelligence who are just some of the most sloppy thinkers on the planet.

Not to mention I imagine many American intellectuals are hobbled by living in such an inferior culture they adopt it's norms and low brow judgement when growing up.

latte island:

In fairness to gay/bi men, we're interested in men as sexual and romantic partners not because we hate women (that's secondary, acquired, and far from inevitable) but because we really really like guys.

She looks good to me. I'd definitely hit it. I like older women that put in an effort to look good. I see a lot of them at my gym.

Stuff that makes women nod the nice white lady phenomena.

"Alex hints at an interesting point. What effect are female lawyers and judges having on the judicial process?" - destructure

There was a fantastic piece written by a woman of all things that said the legal profession had went downhill big time when minorities and women entered in droves. I wish I could find it.

I'm sorry cupcake but women aren't more talented they're just better at social politics BS that plays more heavily in those areas. Sucking up, backstabbing, gossip, etc. They can hustle.

Do you know what was the very first thing women achieved in America when they got the right to vote?

Prohibition. Women had been working at it for fifty years by 1920. Patiently, over years and decades they destroyed politicians from coast to coast unless they were 'dry.' By the time enough states had women's suffrage, Prohibition was a done deal, making criminals out of most people.

Soon after, women fought hard in the other other direction, condemning en masse that vile Prohibition.

What's a women's prerogative again? Oh, yeah!

Zimmerman looks really beta so his screaming in terror and then cheating with a pistol as an alpha footballer showed him the proper pecking order will sicken the primitive female mind. In reading liberals, I've come across 'sore loser' scorn over and over.

"News flash: women are human, and when it comes to the humanities and language, we are, on average, more talented than men."

As a real live girl, I can tell you, this ain't true.

Women are better at humanities and language than they are at math and science.

Women are not better at any of the above than men are.

Among the talented, there are far more men.

Ladies need to accept this gracefully. We look stupid when we assert things as true which are so manifestly false.

"great female literary masterpieces such as Twilight, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games."

LOL,

my son asked his middle school buddies which was better, Hunger Games, or John Carter. 100% in favor of John Carter.

Now that they have outgrown Harry Potter, they wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft. pole. Little kids and women like that stuff. Older boys and men, uh, not so much.

Latte Island seems to have no idea that the proliferation of women on the bench, over the last 20 yrs., has been the result of white-knighting on the part of limp-spined men. When women showed up in numbers in the early '80's, there was an immediate application of AA in judging their performance, similar to that practiced in universities toward blacks. Indeed, less circumspect women even explicitly trumpeted "empathy" as somehow being a value useful in law. One thing that often happens with women judges is that, fearful of being run-over by male aggression, they overcompensate by being needlessly hardheaded, refusing to engage at all, thus abrogating the professional compact whereby judges inform themselves through dialogue with lawyers. In the '90's in San Francisco we had a woman judge whose standard refrain was "no argument," whenever she made a ruling. She was elevated to the federal bench, where she became overwhelmed and reportedly cracked up.

Women do narrowly beat out men in verbal IQ, on the average. However, because the male standard deviation is higher the M:W ratio increases dramatically after about 130 or so. If you selected randomly 100 people with a 150+ verbal IQ the great majority of them would be male.

Notice the result: it is easy for colleges to staff the humanities with roughly equal gender ratios. One can be a passable humanities prof with 125-130 verbal IQ and there are a lot of women in that category. You can't do this as easily in mathematics and the hard sciences, where the IQ "floor" for a professor is probably 140+.

Because they can (and some other stuff, like more female graduate students in most humanities disciplines) humanities departments therefore hire a lot of women. In the aggregate this puts a lot of non-brilliant people in intellectually critical positions. Non-brilliant people do non-brilliant things, like champion post-modernity and feminist 'theory', publish sheer nonsense, and, most importantly, hire more non-brilliant people.

Collectively forgetting that the genius population is 80%+ male has done a great deal to undermine our intellectual life.

I agree there are more men who are really really good at math than women. But the difference isn't noticeable unless you are out in the very extreme right tail.

There are lots and lots of women who are good enough at math to get a Ph.D in math, for example, and I'm sure they are also smart enough to be a lawyer or judge. Women become very scarce at the level of world-class mathematicians--the sort who might win the Putnam Competition as an undergraduate. These are the best of the best, not just garden-variety Ph.D. material.

In 2011 there was one female among the top 23 Putnam contestants (out of 4440 students who wrote). Her name is Fei Song.

Here are the Putnam results from 2011:

I think her picture is on this page, if you scroll down to the 5th photo:

Any voting guides give her bust measurements?

She's not bad, but this is a hot women-Claudia Cardinale

http://allwomenarebad.blogspot.com/2011/10/claudia-cardinale.html

compared to sonia sotomayor or elena kagan (i know) yes, but to use "hot babe" and this woman in the same sentence is ridiculous.
