The groupies show that he's not a bad looking guy and that if it weren't for his mental illness, he would have been able to find a girlfriend prior to the shooting. People didn't swoon over the Virginia Tech shooter or Jared Loughner after they committed their shootings. So just shooting a bunch of people doesn't turn a person into a sex symbol.

We don't actually know whether Holmes had been celibate, involuntarily or otherwise. He also was only 24 years old, so it would have been premature to jump to conclusions about his future celibacy or lack thereof.
I heard on the radio not long ago that Holmes had sent a letter to a University of Colorado psychiatrist warning that he might commit an act of mass violence. Although he had mailed it quite far in advance, it sat around in a mailroom for several days and did not reach the recipient until after the shootings.

This guy gets it. Males below 7 especially in their teens to mid 20's =incel. A male seven is the new average. It doesn't mean you'll get laid a lot but you can now exist in the presence of non-fat women. You have to be a male 8 to get laid regularly.

Judaism allowed polygamy in biblical times. The ban on polygamy among the Ashkenazim originates from a synod called around the year 1000 by Rabbi Gershom ben Judah, the most important Ashkenazi rabbi of the period. There is debate as to whether the ban was initially supposed to be temporary, but AFAIK (and I'm neither Orthodox nor even a believer) mainstream Ashkenazi Orthodox opinion currently holds that the ban is still in force.

Prisoners don't really have the legal right to conjugal visits, i.e. they must get permission from the prison. It's possible Holmes will be denied the privilege because of the nature of his crimes and/or mental state.

I made fun of the Ivy Leaguers for having to pay for their undergrad education when I was at the exact same place where they were.

I don't think that the ancient Jews invented monogamy. The Torah ascribes multiple wives to all of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), for instance. At least to my knowledge, Rabbi Gershom's synod represented the first time that monogamy had ever been formally instituted among any Jewish group. Which is not to say that polygamy was ever common among any of these groups.
Ancient Roman marriage law favored monogamy but allowed concubinage in some situations. I'd have to check, but I believe that ancient Athenian marriage law similarly favored monogamy (but tolerated some forms of incest - e.g. marriages between half-siblings who didn't share the same mother). The Early Christians and their successors were monogamous, and that is probably the reason that the Ashknazim formally banned polygamy, in order to avoid tension with surrounding communities.

Asian civilizations stagnated and declined because many of their best and brightest were eunuchs. Where as in the west every man regardless of his status got a wife and children. This is important because a craftsmen can pass on his knowledge and wealth to his kids who then go onto further develop his ideas which leads to better inventions and more innovations. Even at the elite level monogamy was better than polygamy. Fewer children means wealth isn't spread out amongst numerous wives and descendants. With inheritance concentrated into a few hands more wealth can build up generationally rather than a family getting poorer as time goes on. This is why Asia never produced Rothchilds or any other famously wealthy clan. Plus with only one wife children would not fight with each other over succession. Contrast this with Asia where half siblings frequently murdered each other in palace intrigues to secure power. Monogamy produces less strife and more cohesion.

Even if the Jews weren't the first they surely were the most prominent along with the Christian west. Islam is an interesting case. Southwest Asia has been a place for sexual hedonism since ancient times. Imagine our degenerate society but on steroids. That's why the region spawned three major prudish religions. Islam however strikes a balance and that's why it won out over Judaism and Christianity. Polygamy and incest are allowed but controlled and restrained (at least compared to pre-Islamic times). Lots of beta and omega men went sexless then too and Islam promised men sexual paradise in the afterlife if they took up the sword and slayed Islam's enemies. This is the only religion I'm aware of that offers men sexual delight. It channeled men like James Holmes into weapons for it's own ends. Even stuff like covering up women from head to toe and rarely permitting them out of the home only spawned there where polygamy was so widespread that your wife, sister, mother, could become an alpha male's plaything in an instant and she'd love it too. This is why adultery is still a capital offense in many conservative Muslim areas.
Southwest Asia is where civilization spawned and advanced but like the rest of Asia it stagnated, declined, and totally collapsed against a new competitor; Christian Europe. As Christianity cemented itself in Europe by the tenth century is when Europe was on the offensive. The crusades are a great example. The muslim states should have crushed the crusaders easily but it took centuries to do that. A little while later Europeans were out to sea and eventually conquering new worlds. After that they were taking over the old world too. It's stunning. People have their theories but the only thing that truly separated the west from the east was monogamy. Even kings had to obey.

Europe was great even long before Christianity, so something else had to have been at play. Even the Greeks (Greece has been nothing for well over 2,000 years) knew of moral and intellectual hereditary differences between aristocrats, slaves, and everything in between, and it was documented.

I'd imagine that Satanism would too given that they're all about being whatever Christianity isn't, though actual Satanism and even Paganism (the two are very distinct but many Christians erroneously lump the two) are statistically irrelevant.

Akhenaten is credited with inventing monotheism. The Kabbalah and a proto-Moses myth were also written there. As for the deviation from monotheism, you have to remember that many of the surrounding tribes had Judaism imposed upon them, and even the oldest references to Yahweh come from the Edomites' homeland, where he was a part of a polytheistic pantheon. Keep in mind that if a literal Yahweh were telling people that he was the one and only true god and made himself as obvious as he did in the Bible it would be very unlikely of them to revert back. Julian Jaynes also has a theory stating that ancient man in those days heard literal voices in his head, and as society became increasingly complex the voices went away and evolved a superior introspective consciousness.
