Will there be riots if Obama loses election?

Back in 2008 I said that there weren’t going to be any riots?

But maybe, that’s no longer the case on 2012. Infowars continues to report that Twitter is jumping with tweets from people (mostly black people) threatening to riot if Obama loses.

I need to remind readers that there haven’t been any good riots in this country since the Rodney King trial more than 20 years ago.

If Romney wins by a pretty solid margin there probably won't be much trouble. If it's tight, there will be accusations that the election was "stolen," and then there could be trouble.

I still think it's quite possible Romney wins the national popular vote, but loses in the Electoral College and we get 4 more years of Obama. That will be very interesting, because we've had minority presidents before, but unless I am mistaken, those have all be first-termers, e.g. George W. Bush. I don't think an incumbent has ever lost the popular vote but managed to stay in office.

Presuming all this, plus at least one house of Congress still controlled by the GOP, I don't see how Obama governs, unless he intends to rule by executive order and recess appointments. Which then means impeachment becomes a distinct possibility.

I don't think there will be much rioting. For one thing, a large percentage of blacks don't vote at all. The ones who do care about politics tend to be better educated and well-behaved.

Second, blacks have been very disappointed in Obama because they feel he hasn't pandered to them enough while in the white house. Many blacks don't even plan on voting this year because they're that disappointed.

So I don't think they'll really care that much if Obama loses. If anything, it will probably make them happy because it will confirm their belief that the whole world is incurably racis' against blacks.

Sounds about right. I recently read a diatribe in The Atlantic written by a black man who complained that Obama doesn't lecture white people about race enough. Then the author ranted on about how America can't handle a "real black president."

I think that blacks were hoping that Obama would transform into Al Sharpton after winning the election and that the Dems would start ramming a bunch of racially targeted redistributive policies down the public's throat. It is kind of interesting to think that Obama has unanimous support from blacks, yet he's done the least for them of any group thus far. The only group Obama seems to have stuck his neck out for is the gays.

Trivia: blacks have served in every US war since the American Revolution. They even helped the US settle the West. Nowadays, our armed forces are a melting pot of different races. So it's inaccurate to make the implication that only "whites" invade and destroy other countries.

Other than that, not so much. Blacks have mastered the art of sullen non-compliance, more than rioting. They really don't riot often.

Obamessiah losing isn't in their lights a riotable offense, but it will be a cause of a major amount of "Sheeit!" and "Daaayuum" patented black sullenness. Look forward to many years of even more sour black rage.

But I wonder whether or not blacks are so over, so 20th century. The one and only good thing about the Hispanic invasion is that they are now the dominant minority group. I think it is going to take some time for the realities of that to set in amongst whites and blacks.
