Mass shooting in Connecticut

The victims are young children, so this is very sad.

The "gunman" is said to be dead.

I wonder if this is a case of beta-male rage, especially Asian beta-male rage?

Abc news reported "State Police confirm that one shooter is dead. A second gunman is apparently at large, sources told ABC News."

Second shooter may be driving a maroon van. (This reminds me of the DC Sniper incident when everyone was looking for a white van which turned out to be a completely bogus lead.)

Shooter may have been parent of one of the children who attends the school.

"Dozens" of victims and a least a dozen dead. Wow, that was one angry beta male.

The New Haven Register reports that there's no second shooter. Which makes a lot more sense to me. This sounds like a beta-male rage incident, and beta-males always work alone.

NBC says: "The gunman, who is dead, was a 20-year-old from Connecticut, an official said. He was wearing all black and was carrying two 9mm handguns."

Too young to be a parent or a teacher. Maybe he was a janitor?

"ABC said the shooter was an employee who had been fired earlier in the morning and returned with an assault weapon, shot a school employee and then shot himself."

This actually doesn't fit my definition of beta-male rage, which is more calculated. This sounds like it was spur of the moment.

Lots of great blogging material today. On the subject of Omegas, there was a recently broken up Omega male plot to kill Justin Bieber. Looks like the Omegas are restless.

Omigod. On ABC News a ditsy female reporter just interviewed a 10-year old. Geezus. The 10-year old girl's parents allowed her to be interviewed.

It seems as though everyone wants the chance to be interviewed on TV.

ABC News has a dopey psychologist saying nothing, saying schools are "magnets". He knows nothing of beta male rage. What a dumb dipshit.

They are talking about how "bizarre" it would be if these killings were done by a parent. If they understood beta male rage, this wouldn't be so inexplicable.

And of course they are talking about "guns."

ABC News is just babbling.

There's a lot of bad information out there. Media and twitter have said there was one gunman, others said two gunmen. Varying number of casualties. There were reports of a maroon van. So in the neighboring city of Danbury, there was a report that police had stopped 20 maroon vans. I doubt there are 20 maroon vans in Danbury (pop about 70K I guess). So let's wait a little while for the correct facts to emerge.

One prediction I feel reasonably safe in making: the killer was a low IQ male. That means he probably wasn't Asian. We'll find out soon enough.

If he's a janitor, there's a good chance it could be a NAM. I agree with JayNE that this is the kind of behavior you would expect from a low-IQ male. You have to be pretty depraved to shoot a bunch of kids just because you lost your job.

I predicted that Obama would come out well in this. It's awful to observe such things in the wake of such a horrible crime, but it's true. Isn't pointing out these awkward truths what this blog is for?

I was genuinely upset by this shooting for about an hour this afternoon. Then I checked Facebook and half of my SWPL friends had all of a sudden become experts on guns, gun control, and child psychology. Now I'm just annoyed.

I'm not sure if its satire, hopefully it is, but either way that is a really perfect encapsulation of a truly absurd viewpoint.
