Ryan Lanza [mis]identified as shooter

This is the 24-year-old shooter's facebook page.

His mother, Nancy Lanza, who may be dead, lived at 36 Yogananda St in Sandy Hook, CT.

Based on the photos at the facebook page, I'm going back to the beta-male rage angle.

Despite some comments saying otherwise, the facebook page I liked to almost certainly belongs to the person described by major new sources as the shooter.

It also appears that he killed his (unemployed?) father at their house, and then went to the school where his mother was a school teacher and killed her there.

So this makes him one angry beta male, killing both of his parents and then a bunch of small children.

Here’s a news story alleging that Ryan Lanza I linked to is not the shooter.

It doesn’t add up. Two Ryan Lanzas from Newton, Connecticut? Either the live Ryan Lanza is a hoax, or the mainstream media completely reported the wrong facts.

Given how the MSM doesn’t do any real reporting, it’s possible that they reported the wrong facts. Perhaps the shooter wasn’t Ryan Lanza at all?

There are only three Ryan Lanzas in the United States, and only one of them is from Newtown CT, so the Facebook page I posted belongs to that Ryan Lanza.

The other possibility is that the other Ryan Lanza from New Jersey was the shooter,and some journalists just assumed that the Ryan Lanza from Newtown must have been the perp when in fact it was a random act of violence perpetrated by the other Ryan Lanza, and coincidentally he shot the mother of the guy with the same name.

Shooter is NOT Ryan Lanza, but rather Ryan Lanza's younger brother. It makes sense that someone living in a SWPL place like Hoboken would NOT be a mass-murderer. I should have figured that out.

Beta male has a nice ring to it. Moreover it's people like you should learn the difference. Omega males are guys who can't even maintain jobs. Most shooters are not unemployed. Frequently they're "normal" but lack maybe in one or two areas of life. An omega is someone who's obese, unemployed, or with a long history of dysfunction. Rifleman and TUJ need to STFU.

jayne, don't be an asshole. The story has updated; at the time I read it, Ryan (24) had been identified as the shooter, and Adam (20) was being taken in for questioning. Getting those things backwards doesn't affect my point, and in fact, strengthens it. (Schiz may manifest as late as 24/25, but almost never later than 25. The fact that it was the 20-yo brother, not the 24-yo, makes undetected schiz *more* likely.)

But this is also true of the online sex nerds in the manoshere/Game community. These guys seem to believe they were entitled to a Victoria's Secret supermodel when they turned 18, it never happened and now they are bitter about it.

The reason I keep pointing out the mislabeling of Omegas as Betas is because I think it is fundamental to the omega's false sense of entitlement that he be considered a beta and not actually an omega.

Most sex nerds online are clearly omegas in that they are not sociable, average provider men with healthy relationships.

People here continue to misunderstand Intelligence.
Lanza could be intelligent and psychotic at the same time. The condition don't always reduce the mental performance immediately when it show up.

If he had delusions of persecution, he could have accumulated weapons to defend himself. The same could be said of his mother (psychiatric conditions often are inherited).

The problem is not in his intelligence level but in his inability to feel emotion correctly, control them, criticize his own mental process and so on.

What could have probably cause the killing spree is the fact the mother allegedly started to ask authorities to forcibly treat his son for his psychiatric problems. She probably did it because the behavior of his son was out of any control (I would bet she was beaten by him more than one time).

He discovered her actions and acted out, killing her. Then, probably, he went to discharge all his rage and frustration on the second target of his hate: the school / classroom that kept his mother from him.

This is not so strange for symbiotic couples (usually mother/son or mother/daughter) when they are separated for some reason.
