Link to the new Wordpress blog. (There’s a new post up about David Brooks’ book Bobos in Paradise.)

I'm in Canada. I just tried accessing your new blog again, using the link you provided and got this message: "SITE BLOCKED Access to the site you have chosen is not permitted by our terms of service policy. To continue your browsing experience please click here:" Is it possible your new blog has already (preemptively) been identified as offensive, though oddly your original (more offensive) blog is still accessible.
Is anyone else unable to access the new blog?
Commenter who wrote that, can you read other Wordpress blogs? Such as this randomly selected Wordpress blog?
UPDATE
Commenter says:
I specifically said I couldn't read your blog at the mcdonalds I was at (in Canada) but I've had no problem reading it elsewhere in Canada. It appears to be a mcdonalds problem, not a Canada problem. I was able to read the random blog you linked to above but I'm no longer at mcdonalds. Next time I'm there, I'll test it to see if mcdonalds is banning all wordpress blogs or just yours.
It appears that McDonald's Canada is banning Wordpress blogs from its wifi. What a prole establishment.
I have Wordpress and have readers from Canada. I also doubt that your blog was put on ice by Wordpress. I can access it. Where exactly in Canada is the guy trying to access? His office? A school or hotel?

Is the name of your new blog a reference to La Griffe du Lion?
[HS: No. Lions are commonly referred to animals, and "La Griffe" shouldn't have a monopoly on their use.]

FYI, both wordpress and blogger are completely blocked in China. halfsigma is not.

It's not a guy it's The Legendary Linda (what a dazzling name).

Fucking Canadians.

I guess this is the blogger equivalent of a mid-life crisis. Siggie, get rid of the sportscar and dump that little blond you've been seeing. Come home to the ones who love you :)

How does banning Wordpress blogs make it a "prole" establishment? Or are you just using the word prole for everything you don't like now?

I'm back at mcdonalds (different one but I'm still in Canada) with my iPad enjoying a large hot chocolate against the cold outside. I once again tried accessing the lion blog and also the randomly selected word press blog. Both are blocked. So half sigma seems correct in asserting word press blogs in general are blocked by (Canadian) mcdonalds.

Mcdonalds used to be prole, but they appear to be trying to drive out the proles and attract more elites like me. Hence the free wifi, fancy coffee drinks, big screen TVs tuned to CNN. I see a lot of well dressed four eyed men coming in with their lap tops who are only several rungs below my class level. I laugh at them because they're lugging around a lap top while I have an elegant iPad and always have the best car in every parking lot. When they try to say "hello" I explode into laughter. I hate to hurt anyone's feelings but it's funny that they think they'd have a chance.
